Host venue: the beautiful Palma Ceia Golf & Country Club. Palma Ceia is one of Tampa’s most historic and prestigious private clubs in Tampa. It was founded in 1916 and as usual the course was in immaculate condition.
Our sincere thanks go to Bridget Gruman, our Club Representative for Palma Ceia, for arranging a wonderful tournament and lunch. We certainly need a nod to the Golfing Warriors who played in spite of the excruciating heat. I tip my cap to you, all 39 of you, for braving this Florida weather.
A special thank you to Joe Hodge and his team for providing such an outstanding facility and maintaining excellent course conditions for the ladies of the WCWGA to enjoy. Your efforts were truly appreciated. Palma Ceia provided a pristine course during a season that has been particularly challenging for everyone working to maintain courses and gardens. We are very grateful for your hard work, hospitality, and attention to detail. Thank you for helping make the event so enjoyable for all of us!
