Countryside Country Club, a naturally beautiful golf course, was established in 1977. It has 27 holes and was re-designed by the icon Gary Player years later.
WCWGA Members and guests played this lovely course with great weather today. Some holes were challenging but at the same time we were rewarded by its natural beauty. The course was in good condition, considering the damage done by hurricane Millton. We played Lake/Pine combined today. There were 40 players including 5 guests. Countryside CC donated a foursome certificate which was used as a raffle prize. There were also four ‘closest to the pin’ prizes.
A huge Thank you to Soozi Kaiser WC Representative for hosting us and making sure everything went smoothly. Soozi, a WCWGA member for many years, recently became the Representative for Countryside CC. Soozi’s commitment to host us and her hard work truly made this day special, and we are very grateful.
Lastly, Thank you to all WCWGA members and guests Ann Ferguson, Cathy Tintera, Michelle Messier, Pat Moler, and Paula Doherty who joined us at this event.
