Belleair Country Club is Florida’s first Golf Course designed by Donald Ross in 1897. The West Course was restored a few years ago back to Donald Ross’s 1924 revision of the course. A stunning and beautiful golf course along the Clearwater Bay.
The Couples Member-Member tournament was a tremendous success, featuring the largest field of players of any event this season. Participants enjoyed the West Course with its amazing and challenging hazard placements including sand-faced mounded hazards that intruded into fairways and natural ravines and streams. The field consisted of fifty-four couples and thirty-six member-member pairings (ninety players). Winners were awarded golf shop gift certificates.
We would like to extend our gratitude to Club representative Dianne DeNuccio for hosting us and for her dedicated efforts in managing every detail of the event. Special thanks to Director of Golf Jim Slattery and his staff for their hard work in coordinating the event and to ensure we had a successful and memorable event.
