St Petersburg Country Club – November 30
Thank you to the St. Petersburg Country Club Team that hosted an excellently run Mother Lassing Tournament! Thanks to Cathy Moss who spearheaded the event and her team of Rusty Murphy, Anne Sincavage, Donna Arcudi, Toni Herting and Anthea Penrose.
The weather warmed up and it was a beautiful day. We had a turnout of 52 players which was very good and we finished in under 4 ½ hours. Golf Genius also helped speed the results. We enjoyed the brand new Pro Shop and updated Patio at the clubhouse.
Congratulations to all our Winners!
We played a one day tournament this year due to difficulty getting a club to host, but hopefully will return to the traditional tournament next year. We appreciated St. Pete hosting as their play is very limited as they will be shutting down in a couple months to completely renovate their course.
Mother Lassing is one of our two major tournaments which is a net tournament within each flight, and an overall Net Winner and Runner up. And our Winners were:
1st Place Overall – Beatriz Niemeyer 67
Runner up – Soozi Kaiser 71
